Idahoans Are Angry as Mark Wahlberg Rips Boise in Netflix Movie
There is nothing better than seeing Boise getting shoutouts whether it be on TV or on TikTok and we’ve certainly been getting a lot of attention recently. From Boise having a contestant on Big Brother this summer to all of the Idaho Tik Toks going viral it’s cool to watch our city have such a big impact. HGTV even named it the second best place to live in the entire country! Boise is certainly growing and other people have noticed it as well including television producers.
Recently we learned the news that Boise Brewing was going to be featured on Big Brother and there is even a very popular Grey's Anatomy episode that mentions Boise. But now Idaho and Boise have hit the big screen in a new movie called The Union starring Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry.

In this new spy movie that just came out the two are spies and at one point in the movie Idaho gets mentioned! As a joke a member of the CIA says that they're going to have to sell a state and says that if they lose America's money they will sell Idaho because no one will miss it. Later in the thing they accidentally spend the money and say "there goes Boise".
Considering Boise loves Mark Wahlberg and Mark Wahlberg loves Boise we were surprised to see this diss on our state from a movie he is starring in. We hope that he didn't write this line!
