A favorite Twin Falls restaurant has closed indefinitely due to unforeseen issues involving a water main break beneath its building.

The Anchor Bistro and Bar's Rich Legacy

Since opening at the site of the former Skipper’s restaurant, The Anchor Bistro and Bar has become a community favorite, known for its welcoming atmosphere and memorable dining experiences. Drawing on the history of the location, The Anchor kept the iconic Skipper’s anchor as part of its identity, creating a legacy of excellent food and a gathering spot for residents.

The bistro and sports bar features a menu brimming with popular items like hamburgers, wings, salads, and the much-loved fish tacos. Its warm, inviting space is designed with custom woodwork, leather seating, and dark hardwoods, making it a comfortable place for patrons to unwind.

An Entertainment Hub

The Anchor Bistro & Bar isn't just about food—it’s a full entertainment destination. With 19 flat-screen TVs ranging up to 80 inches and coverage of sports from the NFL to NASCAR, it's a go-to spot for sports enthusiasts. The bistro also features 16 beers on tap, a selection of Belgian bottled beers, a comprehensive wine list, and handcrafted cocktails. Happy hour runs from Monday to Saturday from 3-5 p.m., complemented by live music multiple nights each week and outdoor patio seating with fire pits.
