Last weekend was filled with many events and a big party to celebrate St Patrick's Day. Some residents in the Magic Valley are still recovering, and for many, it is hard to believe that another week has passed since that festival. Thursday, March 20 Through Sunday, March 23 - March Madness
This weekend is one that many sports fans look forward to each week. It is the first weekend of the NCAA College Basketball Tournament, also known as March Madness. Many believe the first weekend is the best as it has the most games and is when most of the upsets occur. It is a great weekend to sit on the couch and enjoy four days of basketball, beginning on Thursday, and the final game ending on Sunday night. Thursday, March 20 - Buhl Rotary Club's Spaghetti Dinner
Who doesn't enjoy spaghetti? It is a delicious meal, and this weekend you can enjoy a spaghetti dinner and help a good cause. The Buhl Rotary Club will be having a spaghetti dinner this Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM at Buhl Elementary School, located at 200 6th Ave N. The dinner will cost $25 for a family of four, $8 for individual adults, $5 for kids 6 to 12, and kids five and under are free. Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22 - CSI Baseball
The weather will be up and down this weekend, but if you want to get outside, the CSI baseball team will be in action on Friday and Saturday. The team is currently 22-10 and won their most recent game. They will be playing a four-game series against Colorado Northwestern Community College, with game times at noon and 2 PM on Friday, and at 11 AM and 1 PM on Saturday. Friday, March 21 - Booze, Love, and Awkward Situations With Jesse Carter
Everyone could use a laugh, especially after a long week at work. What better way to enjoy a chuckle than attending a comedy show? This Friday, Booze, Love, and Awkward Situations, a comedy show by Jesse Carter will be happening from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Lamphouse Theater, located at 223 5th Avenue in Twin Falls.
