Over the last few years, many big brands have seen their businesses take a hit. Brands that were once thriving have had to close locations across America, looking to salvage their business and stay afloat. Other companies have closed all their locations and accepted their fate by going out of business. Customers are left upset as they see their favorite stores, restaurants, and food chains continue to close week after week, month after month, and year after year. The list is growing constantly, and another major brand is set to close all its locations in Idaho, Washington, and Utah in 2025.

For those who enjoy shopping at the popular clothing brand Volcom, it will be disappointing to find out that they will be closing all their locations in Idaho, Washington, and Utah this year. There is currently one store located in Idaho in Boise, with multiple locations in Utah and Washington. The clothing store has announced that they have filed for bankruptcy and will be going out of business, closing all locations nationwide. The good news about this is that it means there should be some amazing deals, so make sure to take advantage of the going-out-of-business sales, but the sad thing is that time is running out to get your clothes from one of your favorite brands.

Volcom began in 1991, opening their first clothing store in 2002. They are based out of Costa Mesa, California and have stores around the world, with many across America as well. Their focus is skating, snowboarding, surfing, and swimwear. They are known for their diamond logo. The company has already let go over 1,400 employees, with many more to lose their jobs over the coming months. Volcom is not the only store that will be closing, as its sister brands will be closing as well, such as Billabong and Quicksilver.

If you are someone who enjoys shopping at Volcom, get to your nearest location and get as much as you can before it is too late. There is a location in Meridian, Idaho, as well as multiple locations in the Salt Lake City area,  including an outlet store as well, and multiple locations throughout Washington. Think ahead and buy for Christmas now, birthdays, and anything you may want going forward. Don't wait too long or you may miss out on things you want, but the closer the closures get, the cheaper the prices.
