Growing up, many kids play sports. They play football, soccer, baseball, and basketball, or get into shooting, snowboarding, or perhaps hunting, as many do in Idaho. They also enjoy playing games such as tag, hide-and-seek, playing on playgrounds, and much more. As we get older, these games go away, our bodies don't let us play sports, or perhaps we don't have time, and the fun in life seems to disappear. Life is more simple as a kid, and it is a shame that many adults can't get that magic back of enjoying fun instead of focusing on work. Idaho needs to bring a sports league to the state that allows adults to have fun and be a child again while also being competitive. There is one that Idaho is missing out on that would be a great addition to the Gem State.

While many adults have their bodies force them to quit sports, there are still those who want to get out, exercise, have fun, and be a part of a team. That drive to want to compete doesn't disappear, but finding a league to play in can be tough. Many may not be aware but there are plenty of adult sports leagues around the state, including in the Magic Valley. There are adult volleyball leagues, cornhole leagues, softball leagues, and more. Asking around and doing a simple search online can help you find the sports league you are looking for. There are some great options, but there is one that Idaho needs to introduce to the state that many adults would enjoy and allow them to relive one of their favorite childhood games.

Adult Tag League in Idaho

Recently, I finished watching a football game and left my television on the channel, and what followed was surprising, but incredible. It was an adult tag league. That's right, the childhood game has become an official competitive sport. I sat and watched it for a bit, and it made me want Idaho to have one so I could join a team. The sport is called World Chase Tag, and you can find out more about it by clicking the link above. You can also see how it works by watching the video above. If this came to Idaho, and specifically the Magic Valley, it would give another option to adults to compete in, allow them to get in great shape, and with it being indoors allow them to compete all year.

If the Magic Valley or the state of Idaho got a World Chase Tag league, would you compete in it? Would you go watch your friends, coworkers, or spouse compete? With how long the winters are and the weather making it impossible to compete in outdoor sports for many months, this would be a great addition to any Idaho community. Kid's leagues, adult league's, coed, or company leagues, would be a fun time for all and is something that needs to happen in Idaho.
