Growing up, many of us had a favorite television show, or perhaps a few. Most of us remember them fondly and with so many streaming services, we can go back and watch them. Sometimes they are as enjoyable as we remember, and others, we realize we have outgrown and can't watch anymore. It isn't uncommon for parents to want their children to watch the shows they grew up on, and that is why some of us have DVDs of our favorite children's shows or use streaming services to have them watch old episodes we grew up on. One show that many of us enjoyed as little ones that has been gone for a while is coming back, but there will be some slight changes.

Many of us remember the big purple dinosaur Barney that taught us the infamous song 'I Love You, You Love Me,' and the opinions of Barney vary depending on who you ask. Some children, like myself, loved Barney and enjoyed the show every afternoon, while others were scared or annoyed by his hugging and antics. It has been 13 years since Barney graced our television sets. Despite your opinion, it is now time to introduce the next generation to Barney, Baby Bop, and friends. The show will be a little bit different this time, which should help with some of the nightmares, that the older generation had to deal with.

The world will have to wait a little bit for Barney to return, as he will not be on television until 2024. The show will no longer feature a man in a costume but will go more digital, similar to how many children's shows and reboots are these days. There aren't many details, so it is unsure what channel or streaming service Barney will be on, but you can expect clothing items, toys, and books to hit the shelves soon. The franchise will look to include tv, film, and YouTube content.
