Grocery Items You Can No Longer Buy in 2025 in ID, WA, and UT
Grocery shopping is one of those errands that everyone has to do. Some enjoy going through the store and seeing what they can find, while others dread it and hate dealing with the crowds. It can be frustrating to do, which is why many rely on ordering online and picking up now so they can avoid this dreaded errand. Most people have the essentials they get every visit and have items they rely on being available when they go grocery shopping, but from time to time an item you often buy will disappear from the shelves. It can be temporary, and sometimes it can be forever. There have been some grocery items that have disappeared in 2025 that you can no longer purchase in Idaho, Washington, and Utah.
Kirkland Chocolate Chips
It was announced earlier this year that Costco would no longer be selling Kirkland Chocolate Chips. This was a surprise considering that it is their brand, but due to the cost of production, they decided to no longer carry the item. The good news is that they have other brands, but if you prefer the Kirkland ones specifically, you are out of luck.
Coca Cola Spiced
This one seemed destined to fail from the get go, so it is no surprise that Coca Cola Spiced has been discontinued. The soda failed to meet expectations and never became a favorite, so Coca Cola decided to pull the plug and put resources into products that were more profitable.
Luvsome Pet Food
Everyone has a favorite brand of pet food for their animals and one that many enjoy is Luvsome. It was sold at Kroger-related grocery stores, and recently has been absent at most stores according to those who purchase it. You can continue to check back at stores, but it is likely that you wont be able to find it, making it no longer available at this time, and perhaps moving forward.
Hornel Black Label Jalapeno Bacon
For those that enjoy spicy bacon, Hornel Black Label offered jalapeno bacon but discontinued it near the end of 2024 and it has been removed from shelves entirely in 2025. No reason was given for the discontinuation of the product.
Boar's Head Liverwurst
Is anybody going to be upset about liverwurst no longer being sold? If you are one of the few, you might be glad for the reason it is no longer available. Boar's Head was discontinued after 57 hospitalizations and 9 deaths were reported from those that consumed it. It is safe to say this is one on the list that will not be missed.

These are only a few items that you can no longer find in grocery stores this year, with many others to follow throughout 2025. Are you sad to see any of these go away? Perhaps there is a chance they could return in the future, but for most of these items, if not all of them, they will likely never be sold again.
