There are 6 people in my family between my wife, the 4 kids, and myself, which normally makes flying anywhere cost us a fortune. We always have to weigh the benefits and costs of driving vs flying when we go on vacation.

We frequently go to Las Vegas since we have family in town and used to live there. Often, we drive to Las Vegas to meet up with family and then continue on to a beach destination in California. So I’m particularly excited about the prospect of affordable flights out of Twin Falls to two of my common destinations: Las Vegas, Nevada, and Orange County, California.

New Airline in Idaho Offering Flights to California and Las Vegas for Under $50

The announcement was made on Tuesday at the Magic Valley Regional Airport in Twin Falls that Breeze Airways will begin nonstop flights from Twin Falls to Las Vegas and one-stop BreezeThru flights to Orange County (that means you fly from Twin Falls, stop in Las Vegas, but don’t change planes, and then head to California). Orange County is known for the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and Knott’s Berry Farm, plus Huntington, Newport, and Laguna Beaches. Flights out of Twin Falls will begin on March 6th, 2026, and start at $49. Seats can also be upgraded for an additional fee.

At $50 a ticket each way, I can fly my family for about $600, which isn’t quite what we spend driving our gas-guzzling GMC Yukon XL, but paired with the hours saved in driving, even my wife agrees that flying is once again a possibility.

It’s worth noting that even if Las Vegas isn’t your choice of final destinations, it is one of the main hubs for Breeze, so you could fly from Twin Falls to Las Vegas and then from Las Vegas to dozens of other locations across the United States. They even have flights to Cancun, Montego Bay, and Punta Cana.
