
Driver Killed in Crash with Construction Equipment Near Chubbuck, Idaho
An accident on Thursday evening in Bannock County took the life of a male driver after he lost control of his vehicle, struck construction equipment near the highway, and was ejected from the car.
The crash happened on Interstate 15 at mile marker 73, near Chubbuck, a few minutes after 9 PM on July 10th.
Driver Lost Control and Ejected From Vehicle in Deadly Idaho Accident
Idaho State Police responded to the fatal accident and released the following regarding the incident:
A Silver 2003 Honda Accord, driven by a 31-year-old male from Blackfoot, was traveling southbound on I15 when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The Honda slid into the median and struck a Red 2019 Ford F150, a CAT Tractor Blade, and a CAT Front End Loader.
The construction vehicles and equipment were unoccupied at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Honda was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car during the crash. He passed away at the scene of the accident.

Idaho State Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
Suspect Charged with 4 Counts of First-Degree Murder in 2-County Idaho Investigation
Police in Southern Idaho are also investigating a tragic murder spree that happened earlier this week in the Burley/Rupert area.
Police believe a man, Ben Naylor, killed four people by shooting them in the head with a gun. Naylor has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in each case.
