Idaho State Police Reported Multiple Fatal Accidents Over the Weekend

Police in Idaho reported a dangerous and deadly weekend of vehicular accidents, including two pedestrian-involved incidents, a deadly rollover crash, and a fatal accident involving a semi-truck.

Combined, the accidents took the lives of three people and sent three others to hospitals with injuries.

Washington Driver Believed a Suspect in Deadly Hit-and-Run Accident in Idaho

The first was a report of a truck that hit a pedestrian in Northern Idaho around 5 PM on November 14th. The pedestrian, a female, was hit by a Chevy Silverado in Plummer, Idaho. The driver of the truck fled the scene, and the woman passed away at the scene of the accident.

Pictures of the suspected vehicle were shared online and were identified as registered to a residence in Spokane, Washington. Idaho State Police reported on November 15th that the vehicle had been located and the investigation is ongoing.

Utah Man Seriously Injured in Twin Falls, Idaho, After Being Hit By a Car

The second weekend accident reported by the Idaho State Police over the weekend was another vehicle vs pedestrian accident. An 80-year-old male pedestrian was hit by a car in Twin Falls, ID, a few minutes before 9 PM on Blue Lakes Blvd.

The pedestrian was seriously injured, according to the report, and taken by ambulance to a local hospital. KMVT shared a video of the scene of the accident on social media.

Deadly Rollover Accident in Northern Idaho on Sunday Afternoon

A single-vehicle accident in Northern Idaho claimed the life of a female passenger who was ejected from the car when it rolled after the driver, a male, failed to negotiate a curve in the road. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt, and both were taken to the hospital, where the female passed away.

The rollover happened a little before 2 PM on Sunday in Shoshone County. Idaho State Police are investigating the accident.

Truck Driver Killed in Fiery Monday Morning Accident on I-84 in Idaho

The fourth weekend accident involved a head-on collision on Monday between a pickup truck and a semi-truck near Mountain Home on Interstate 84 at 1:20 AM. Idaho State Police reported that the pickup truck was traveling in the wrong direction in the westbound lanes when it struck the semi-truck head-on. Both vehicles were engulfed in flames.

The driver of the pickup, a male from Texas, passed away at the scene of the crash, and the driver of the semi, a male from California, was taken to the hospital.
