
Male Driver Killed, Juvenile and Female Passengers Injured in Idaho Accident
A tragic car accident involving 4 vehicles is being investigated by the Idaho State Police.
The crash happened Thursday evening near Nampa and claimed the life of a driver and sent two people to a local hospital.
Fatal Four Vehicle Crash West of Nampa, Idaho
Idaho State Police reported the accident in a news release, stating that the crash happened on Interstate 84 at mile marker 32. The driver of the vehicle believed to be the cause of the accident passed away at the scene of the wreck.
A 57-year-old man from Boise was driving westbound on I-84 in a gold 2005 Honda Pilot.
A 59-year-old female from Star was also driving westbound in a silver 2014 Toyota Tacoma.
The Honda attempted to change lanes and struck the Tacoma on the driver’s side. The Tacoma then hit the cement barrier in the median.
After striking the Tacoma, the Honda overcorrected and crossed the center line into oncoming traffic, where it struck another Toyota Tacoma head-on.
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma was driven by a 50-year-old male from Nyssa, OR.
A 45-year-old man from Kingsport, TN, was driving eastbound on I-84 in a 2017 Ford van.
The Ford Van struck the 2024 Toyota Tacoma on the driver’s side.
Idaho State Police are investigating the accident.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. A juvenile passenger in the Honda and a 48-year-old female passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, were taken to a local hospital.
The Idaho 511 website has a traffic camera in the area of the crash.
