
2 Accidents Reported on I184 in Southern Idaho
In two separate accidents, but in the same area, vehicles struck the jersey barriers on I184 in Ada County.
The accidents happened about a half an hour apart on the I184 to I84 interchange.
The Idaho State Police reported the accidents together in the same News Release. The first accident happened at 8:17 AM Monday morning (April 7th) and the second happened at 8:41 AM.
2 Vehicles Strike Jersey Barriers on Idaho Interstate on Monday Morning
Each accident was a single-vehicle crash with no injuries reported in either.
From the Idaho State Police regarding each accident:
First Accident: 8:17 AM
A 2004 Honda Civic was traveling westbound on I184. The driver, a 40-year-old man from Mountain Home, drove off the left shoulder and impacted the jersey barrier. He was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.
Second Accident: 8:41 AM
A 2000 Toyota Echo which was traveling westbound on I184. The driver, a 36-year-old man from Meridian, drove off the right shoulder. The vehicle impacted the jersey barrier and overturned onto its side. He was not wearing his seatbelt and was not transported.
Both accidents are under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

ISP reported a fatal semi-truck accident on Friday afternoon near Twin Falls. The driver was towing a trailer of lumber when he rolled the truck after driving off the highway shoulder and overcorrecting.
The driver died at the scene of the accident.
