An accident late Friday evening involved 3 vehicles and sent 6 people, 2 kids and 4 adults, to the hospital.

The accident happened in a construction zone in Southern Idaho.

6 Injured, Including Children, in Highway Accident in Southern Idaho

In the report from the Idaho State Police, we learn that the crash happened on August 1st at 9:16 PM on I-84 near Heyburn at mile marker 204. The highway is undergoing construction in that area and the crash blocked traffic in the eastbound lanes for around 3 hours.

Idaho State Police say that a 2019 Nissan Altima struck a 2025 Honda Pilot which struck a 2019 Audi Q8.

Three Cars Involved in Accident Near Burley, Idaho: Six People Injured

  • The Nissan was occupied by a 32-year-old male driver from Burley, ID, an adult female passenger, and three juvenile passengers.
  • The two adults were transported by ground ambulance and two of the juveniles were transported by air ambulance to the hospital.
  • The Honda was occupied by a 46-year-old male driver and a 47-year-old female passenger, both from Ogden, UT.
  • Both occupants were transported by ground ambulance to the hospital.
  • The Audi was occupied by a 42-year-old male driver from North Bend, WA and a 43-year-old female passenger from Enumclaw, WA.
  • Neither occupant was transported.

There haven’t been any updates on those injured and the crash is still under investigation by Idaho State Police.
