If you watch any social media influencer, you might think that means a person who does whatever they want if it gets them video views.

Common courtesy and respect for your surroundings seem to be traded in for attention from online strangers. But it isn’t just the social media influencers who are guilty of bad habits in public.

Washington, Idaho, and Utah Have These Naughty Travel Habits

A recent survey was done to find out what naughty habits we have when we travel publicly. The study focuses specifically on naughty habits at the airport and on planes, but this could also apply to bus travel.

The habits they consider naughty, surprisingly, don’t include the one naughty thing travelers do on planes when they are a ‘mile high’ in the sky. The list does include things that are more annoying than naughty, like wearing strong cologne or perfume, asking to switch seats, using both armrests, and pushing on the seat in front of you.

ID Has the Least Naughty Travel Habits, UT and WA Among the Worst

The survey found that Idahoans are the best to travel with, and people from Washington and Utah are among the worst…but definitely not as naughty as the top two states: California and Mississippi.

Idaho is the least naughty, Utah is the 17th naughtiest state, and Washington is the 6th naughtiest! Shame on you, Washington.

Each state is guilty of a variety of these naughty and annoying habits, but Solitaire Bliss says these are the worst for each state:

  • Idaho - Lying down in the terminal
  • Utah - Leaving garbage in the seat pockets
  • Washington - Lying down in the terminal
