I’ve never been one to go out just to drive around town. If I’m going out, it’s for a reason or I’m actually going out, like out of town. So, it isn’t a surprise that I may miss when things happen or new signs and buildings go up around Twin Falls without me seeing the construction process. But there’s a sign up in Downtown Twin Falls that I swear I should have noticed before, and I even remember it not being there. I just don’t know when the change happened.

When Did This Sign Go Up In Twin Falls

The sign I’m talking about is a small street sign at the Shoshone Street and 2nd Ave West intersection. It’s a green sign attached to the streetlight post for Wells, NV.

I know that the sign hasn’t always been there and it had to have been placed recently. To prove to myself that I’m not crazy and unobservant, I went through Google Street pictures from previous years. In my search, I found that the change happened between 2018 and 2019 when the city redid the sidewalks to be more disability accessible.

While I was distracted by the Wells, NV sign I did fail to notice that there was also a sign for Burley that was also repositioned between 2018 and 2019. I know I miss a lot of things and I didn’t venture out of my house much during the pandemic, which happened right after the signs were changed, but I don’t really have a good excuse for missing this sign. Did anyone else not know about this?
