Local businesses in Southern Idaho are the heartbeat of our communities. Mom and pop shops and locally owned locations are scattered across the Magic Valley and while you should support local as often as possible, there’s an extra push happening right now in the Magic Valley. Shop local in August and you not only help your neighbors thrive but you could also win cool prizes.

The Gooding Shop Local Campaign runs from August 13-21, 2022 with a special kick-off event on the 13th at the vendor fair on the IESDB (Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind) lawn at 1450 Main Street. At the vendor fair, you can pick up your charm bracelet, also available at the Valley Wide Country Store and M & W Markets, and your first charm. Then throughout the event, you can gather charms as you support local businesses. Each charm improves your chances of winning a prize.

Prizes include pickleball gear, a kayak, gift certificates and baskets, and decor.

No purchase is required to get charms to win prizes, but the purpose of the event is to support and shop local, so be a good neighbor and spend some cash.
