With less than six weeks left until Halloween, southern Idaho residents will be visiting a number of familiar locations that provide themed decorations and spooky theatrics.

One public gathering spot east of Twin Falls is said to be visited frequently by an unknown entity at night, and there's no staged dramatics of any kind on display.

The start of the fall season is less than a week away. Halloween decorations have already begun going up in the Magic Valley, and people are expecting and looking forward to some good scares between now and October 31.

Southern Idaho family-friendly fall attractions include The Haunted Swamp, Tubbs Berry Farm, The Haunted Mansions of Albion, and Trick or Treat on Bish's Street. If it's an authentic scare you seek that doesn't include props, jump scares by drama kids, or elaborate decorations, then plan a trip out to Hooper Springs Park after dark.

Located 175 miles east of Twin Falls, Hooper Springs Park is rumored to have a paranormal presence that is often seen near the park's bridges, according to idahohauntedhouses.com. Movements and strange sounds have also been witnessed near the playground area, according to IHH.

Hooper Springs Park is located off Highway 15 near the community of Soda Springs. If you've ever visited the park in the evening and encountered anything strange or unexplained, please tell us about it.
