How’s Your Game? State Cornhole Tournament Comes To Twin Falls ID
For Idahoans who love playing cornhole, the state's best of the best will be touring throughout the Gem State over the next eight months to compete against fellow leaguers. Those who believe they have what it takes to compete neck and neck with Idaho's best bag tossers have opportunities to join leagues and compete in several different cities statewide.
I have a friend who has been trying to get me to join a cornhole league and partner up for years, but jobs and kids have gotten in my way. Personally, I love the hobby. I call it that because like darts, I just can't bring myself to call it a sport.
Idaho has a pretty awesome league that tours the state and allows newcomers to compete after signing up. Established in 2023, the Idaho Cornhole League will begin its fall tournament schedule in Butte, Montana, on September 13.
As far as backyard games go, I prefer playing ladder ball, but I have been playing cornhole for fifteen years or so pretty regularly and am confident I can hold my own whenever challenged. Our cornhole boards travel with us anytime we go camping, and my nine-year-old son is just starting to get into it.

Other stops between now and May 2025 include Lewiston (ID), Twin Falls (ID), Idaho Falls (ID), Nampa (ID), and Pocatello (ID). The league has tentative dates planned in Twin Falls on November 15 and 16.
