Road rage is a fact of life in most cities. One of the most common topics you'll come across on most social media sites that deal with life in the Magic Valley is driving, and many motorists are risking serious accidents by attempting to capture images of out-of-control drivers with their foot on the gas pedal.

More than 90 percent of motorists in the United States have witnessed road rage, or aggressive driving, at some point, according to data provided by The Zebra. Southern Idaho frustrated drivers often take to social media sites like Magic Valley Rants / Raves to expose other drivers.

For the record, taking pictures of other driver's license plates while operating a vehicle is the definition of distracted driving.

When talking to most people I know in the Twin Falls area, Blue Lakes Boulevard is a main source of agitation for commuters at all hours of the day. Poleline Road near the Costco is another area that infuriates many drivers due to people who have no clue how to merge properly. I've also heard many people sound off on the WinCo Foods / Target Shopping Center.

One post to a local rants/raves site that caught me by surprise this week was shared on February 26 by a woman who actually credited another Twin Falls driver for taking a picture of her license plate after she was cut off. She apologized for driving hastily and commended the other driver for doing her due diligence. For the record, taking pictures of other driver's license plates while operating a vehicle is the definition of distracted driving.

Rejected Personalized License Plates In Idaho
