A man injured in a rollover in Jerome County on Saturday has died. Daniel Acuna-Cosio was driving eastbound on 600 North in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Saturday around 5:58 p.m. He was near the intersection of 300 East and 600 North when he lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle hit the guardrail of a bridge and rolled. Acuna-Cosio was not wearing his seatbelt. He was taken to St. Alphonsus in Boise. Sunday, Idaho State Police said Acuna-Cosio had died.  It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in this crash.

A man from Declo was killed and another seriously injured after an early morning crash Saturday on Interstate 84 in Elmore County.   The driver of a 2003 Chevrolet Impala, 28 year old Antonio Vaquera of Declo, and his passenger, 28 year old Diana Guerrero of Burley, were traveling eastbound on I-84. Vaquera failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and the Impala went off the right shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle traveled more than 500 feet after leaving the roadway, rolling several times. Both people were ejected from the vehicle. They were not wearing seatbelts.   Vaquera suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Guerrero suffered serious injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.  The preliminary investigation indicates that alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
