Yesterday's snow fall created a very busy day for emergency crews and left some folks without power.  Twin Falls police report they responded to 17 vehicle accidents  yesterday, Gooding county reports 14, Jerome County reported eleven accidents and Lincoln County had one.

The storm swept much of southern Idaho for most of the day bringing with it a lot of snow and slush.   Power outages were reported across the valley yesterday. The largest was in Jerome. About 320 customers remained without power for several hours. In Hagerman about 200 people were left in the dark due to downed power lines. There were also about 60 customers in the dark after a power pole caught fire yesterday in the Rogerson area.  ISP reports a fatality traffic accident on Golf Course Road in Jerome County but they don’t know if it was caused by the weather.
