Join us for Bras Across The Canyon on Saturday, October 20th from Noon till 2PM at the Perrine Bridge!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and on this day we will pay tribute to every single person who has been affected by breast cancer. Fighters, survivors, family members, loved ones, men and women - you are all welcome to come out and support breast cancer awareness!
National nonprofits and physicians’ organizations dedicate every October to the cause of breast cancer awareness — raising funds for research and helping ensure that all women are able to receive regular screenings.
Andrea Mitchell, chief foreign affairs correspondent for NBC News and host of ‘Andrea Mitchell Reports,’ revealed that she’s recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Mitchell, 64, made the announcement at the end of her show on Wednesday.
According to Mitchell, the disease has not spread and her prognosis is excellent. It was detected, she said, during a routine screening.
