Here are the events taking place around Twin Falls this weekend, and even one in Boise.

The Snake, Paddle, and Roll kayak racing event will happen on Saturday, August 27th at Centennial Waterfront Park.

There will be complaints.

For a quick getaway to enjoy an afternoon kayaking, here are some of the best locations nearby you may or may not know about.

People simply can’t afford the trip.

Last week, the Twin Falls Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook a reminder that parking violations can result in fines and your vehicle being towed.

While it is no way encouraged to go out and do so, there are plenty of places around town where you may find a car rocking.

During the winter there are massive icicles, or the kids called them frozen waterfalls, all along the wall. The ice is beautiful and extremely dangerous.

For a small city we’ve tremendous choice.

And the crowds are only going to increase.

Signs are an interesting thing. You see them all over the place when you are looking but if you aren't looking you can easily miss them.

Boats vs kayaks has been an issue for as long as I can remember. Who's right, who's wrong, and who needs to get out of the way?

You should stay away from Centennial.

We want to acknowledge the great work of our county responders and thank the departments involved in Monday's rescues for their bravery.

There have been a couple of recent area taggings similar to this one, including the vandalism of historic sites near the City of Rocks earlier this year, in which no arrest has still been made.

And in every direction you looked you were likely to spot a violation.

It isn't a big deal and the bridge has been fine for many years without me judging it for looking like a child with missing teeth.
