Idaho State Police and Elmore County Sheriff deputies were at the scene of a semi rollover crash at around 4 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 84, about 9 miles west of Mountain Home.
Elmore County authorities say they used GPS, 4x4s, drones and eventually a helicopter to locate hikers that had gotten lost in a mountainous area during the weekend.
The Elmore County Sheriff says several dogs found recently died of "blunt force trauma" near Mountain Home. The sheriff's office says it began an investigation after a total of four dogs had been found near the railroad tracks.
