(AP) - Personal income in Idaho  jumped 5.4 percent from 2010. That's three-tenths of a percentage point higher than nationally and ranks Idaho 11th. The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis says significant growth in net earnings drove the increase.

Although Christmas was yesterday, today is the official holiday for it since it fell on a Sunday.  That means there will be some closures today including the county, state and federal offices and most city offices.  There will be no mail delivery today and no banks will be open...
