These were the same people who dropped speed limits 30 years ago. How did that work out?

I had never heard of the place.

It’s similar in many neighboring states.

Austin, Texas is a favorite among liberals across the country.

Six-hundred feet from my front door is a drop of 500 feet over a cliff. Oh, and just upriver, waterfalls.

We learned from the mistakes made by other state capitals.

We’ve got the Snake River Canyon. They’ve got Gates of the Mountains along the Missouri.

It chronicles the state’s past, before arrival of Europeans.

The largest church I’ve ever visited is on the grounds of Catholic University in Washington.  It’s among the largest in North America.  There is also the Cathedral of St. Helena in Helena, Montana.

I’ve experienced three earthquakes (that I can recall) and found it thrilling. However,  I’ve never lived through something on the scale of Northridge or Anchorage.
