About 30,500 Idahoans have been paid nearly $18 million in unemployment in the last three weeks as thousands have lost their jobs amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Nearly 33,000 Idaho residents filed for unemployment benefits last week as the Idaho economy continues shedding jobs at a record rate because of the coronavirus, state officials said Thursday.
It may come as a surprise to some people who may not have known about it, but there’s a program by the Idaho Department of Labor that helps formerly incarcerated veterans.
