One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near Kooskia while a second person died the next morning at a Washington hospital.

A Kooskia woman died after being pulled from her car that crashed into a river in Idaho County early Tuesday morning.

North Idaho authorities say the driver of a lumber truck that crashed into a river had to be taken to a hospital in Grangeville.
