The federal Bureau of Land Management is postponing an advisory panel's scheduled March 27-28 meeting to make recommendations on wild horses and burros because of a dispute over public notice.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Issues relating to Idaho’s public health will be discussed by the Idaho Board of Health and Welfare at a meeting scheduled for Thursday in Boise.

(AP) Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs says he will talk with Twin Falls County commissioners to see if they want to again challenge the most recent legislative maps created by an Idaho redistricting commission.

Redistricting commissioners sat down to create new legislative maps that satisfy the Idaho Supreme Court, amid an ominous warning from state Republican leaders: Anything the panel decides will be under "a cloud of uncertainty" as to its ultimate legality.

We told you yesterday about how the Twin Falls City Council had been starting their regular public meetings at 5 o’clock…and about how newly seated councilman and former mayor Chris Talkington had mentioned that time was not according to city code.

Tonight the Twin Falls City Council will be meeting an hour later than the usual 5 p.m. starting time.  Apparently, the way it is now, the 5 p.m. starting time contradicts current city code.  So to be legal and official, the meeting will begin tonight at 6 o’clock...

The quest for a new county jail in Gooding County continues.  The current jail facility in Gooding needs replaced according to county officials and a solution to replace it may be getting closer.

What started off about a year ago as a comment after a city council meeting that absolutely no way was the city of Twin Falls looking into a recreation center actually turned into a meeting this week regarding the possibility of a recreation center.
