Utah apparently will have the country’s toughest drunk driving law beginning Dec. 30 – and the National Transportation Safety Board is applauding it, saying that if it is followed in other states it could save the lives of at least 1,500 people a year.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho – The news is sobering: a leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13 are motor vehicle crashes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Idaho Transportation Department.
