Nitrate Testing

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), in partnership with Idaho Rural Water Association, will offer free nitrate screenings for private well owners later this week in Rupert.

Is your well water safe to drink? You can find out at a free testing clinic this Thursday and Friday in Lincoln County.

Private well owners can get their water tested for arsenic and nitrate at the upcoming Buhl Community Health and Information Fair.

It’s not too late to have your groundwater tested for nitrates – as long as you make it to the County West Building before 6:30 p.m.
