Event Planned For Fallen Jerome Soldier
An event will be held in Jerome later today in memory of U.S. Army Sgt. Daniel Brown.  Sgt. Brown died in Afghanistan Saturday when an IED exploded.  He was 27 years old.  Sgt. Brown  leaves behind a wife and  3-month old twin daughters.  The event will be held in the Jerome City Park at 5:30 this afternoon.

It looks like a permanent city dog park could be in future for Twin Falls dog owners.  During the winter the city set up a fenced in ball field at Frontier Park as an experiment to see how many residents would be interested in a dog park.  Over 150 people signed up to use the play area and many more used it who did not sign up...
