Snowmageddon vs. the snowfall of January 2024: What's the real story?

7 years ago the Magic Valley had so much snow dumped on it that schools and businesses closed down and people were afraid to leave their houses.

With the possibility of more snow over the next few days, it's good to know that there will be people willing to help those in need.

I have been here in Twin Falls almost 5 years and my first full winter in Twin Falls was Snowmagedon. 4 years ago we were in the midst of the snowpocalypse, the worst snow storm the area had seen in about 30 years according to people in the area.
