Food is just as much a part of the Super Bowl as the Big Game itself. We did some number crunching and figured out how much Twin Falls will pay for party food this year.
JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) – If you watched this year’s Super Bowl, you may be interested to learn that a local agency was involved with the national event. The Southern Idaho Regional Communications Center (SIRCOMM) provided interoperability communication systems during the game.
Most of us would agree that attending a Super Bowl game would be amazing! But how much money would you spend on that experience? Justin Kerrigan, a Bronco fan featured in the above youtube video, spent over $21,000.00 on the game and asked the local TV station to please not tell his wife.

According to Gizmodo, a study at Tulane University in New Orleans analyzed flu data from the past 35 years, and found an interesting connection to the Super Bowl.

In an almost M. Night Shyamalan type twist, there is a rumor running rampant that the NFL wants to charge performers of the Super Bowl half-time show. Normally it is just a freebie. The artist performs for free and the NFL gets all the benefit.

Over the years there have been some great performers at the Super Bowl. Chubby Checker in 1988, Blues Brothers, James Brown, and ZZ Top in 1997, and The Stones in 2006. There have also been a few not so good choices. Remember Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson in 2004 or Beyonce in 2003?
Talk about premature celebration. One loyal Denver Broncos fan was a little too confident about his team's chances of winning the Super Bowl, getting a very prominent Denver Broncos tattoo on his back that proclaimed them Super Bowl XLVIII Champs.
Before anyone knew that Super Bowl XLVIII would turn out to be a flop on the field, the big event kicked off with a great rendition of the national anthem combined with a flyover of US Army helicopters over MetLife Stadium.
We found a Seattle Seahawks fan who took his obsession for Marshawn Lynch to a whole new level.

This is Fidget, one of our beloved dumpster kitties, I mean barn kitties (the boss prefers me calling them this).
