Winter Storm Watch

Winter Storm Watch issued for Southern Idaho, potential for school closures.

Many parts of Idaho will see snowfall before Christmas Day on Saturday. Higher elevations could see more than a foot of snow while the lower valleys will see a mix of rain and snow before Christmas.

Heavy snow is possible this weekend in parts of the Sawtooth and Wood River valleys

Snow is expected to move across southern Idaho, including south Twin Falls County
