If you've seen the 'Captain America 2' trailer (or the 4-minute preview that ran in theaters with 'Thor: The Dark World'), you've already caught a glimpse of Crossbones, the Marvel villain played in the film by Frank Grillo. He starts off as an ally, but as you can see in the elevator beatdown, he eventually turns on Cap. Now, it looks like this isn't the last we'll see of Crossbones, as Grillo hints that Marvel has even bigger plans in store for the mercenary.
The world collectively chuckled last week as Kanye West revealed his ludicrous "Bound 2" music video, which co-starred his fiancee Kim Kardashian, who rode topless on a motorcycle. Get ready to laugh even harder as Seth Rogen and James Franco made a shot-for-shot remake of the "Bound 2" video on the set of their new movie, which gives new meaning to the lyric, "I wanna f--- you hard on the sink."
For as much as we love 'Anchorman' and Ron Burgundy, we're very happy to be at the point where we can watch actual footage from the film instead of countless promotional spots for the various 'Anchorman 2' sponsors. Yes, the first 'Anchorman 2' clip is here and it'll get you laughing along with Ron Burgundy. Wait, did we see with Ron Burgundy? We meant you'll be laughing at Ron Burgundy.
When word arrived that director James Mangold and star Hugh Jackman were in talks to return for a 'Wolverine 3' (we'll call it that for the time being, even though we hate that it reminds us of the existence of 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine'), we openly wondered what existing storyline they would use for the film, or if they would tell a completely original tale. Mangold himself put to rest the notions that they would create their own 'Wolverine' story saying they "absolutely" will be adapting a popular comic storyline.
Let's see if this news gets your Spidey-sense tingling.
With the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving ahead full bore and Warner Bros. actively developing the expansion of the DC universe, Sony Pictures is looking to create their own mini-universe centered around Spider-Man. Sony Pictures Entertainment Co-Chairman Amy Pascal spoke today and revealed they have plans to create a number of new films based on "new heroes and villains" from the Spider-Man universe.
Just yesterday, we brought you a first look at Arnold Schwarzenegger's new action-thriller 'Sabotage' and were saying that the film was preaching realism above all else. Today, the 'Sabotage' trailer is here, and does it delivers on that promise? Yeahhh, not so much.
While Warner Bros. never confirmed it, most everyone has assumed the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie will be called 'Batman vs. Superman' because, well, duh. But, now comes a report that Warner Bros. has purchased a few related domain names, which indicates the studio is ditching the 'Batman vs. Superman' title for something more 'Man of Steel' friendly.
Can't wait for 'Star Wars: Episode 7' to hit the big screen in December, 2015? Turns out you won't have to.
In addition to Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and all the DC Comics superheroes, 'Star Wars' characters will be making an appearance in 'The Lego Movie' next February. We didn't think it was possible to get more excited for this movie.
You can't keep a good frog down. After writer/star Jason Segel left the 'Muppets' sequel to work on other projects, Kermit, Gonzo, Miss Piggy, Fozzie and the gang pressed ahead with 'Muppets Most Wanted' and brought some famous friends - namely Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell - along with them. Today, you can get your first look at the trailer for the all new Muppet adventure.
'X-Men: Days of Future Past' recently returned to Montreal for a few weeks of reshoots. This, in and of itself, is not really news as virtually every big-budget Hollywood movie actually sets aside time for reshoots in their original schedule. But, as Fox announced the reshoots, a more interesting note came along with it: 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' is now the second most expensive movie in the 78 years of 20th Century Fox, behind only James Cameron's 'Avatar.'
