What a contrast here in Southern Idaho with the brawls, shootings and killings we hear about in other parts of the country.

I could have rolled a Howitzer into the building, fired it and not hit anyone.  As I understand many of these black Friday sales begin far earlier than 5:30 I did ask the greeter at the door if there was anything I’d missed.  He had been on duty through the night.  “It was a little busier earlier,” he explained after thinking about it for a few seconds.

What a contrast here in Southern Idaho with the brawls, shootings and killings we hear about in other parts of the country.  All for a few trinkets you could buy in late January for the same price or even today at some online discount sites.  Below is an old video from Black Friday six years ago.  I believe it sends a chilling message about what would happen if we ever get out of bed some morning and discover the lights don’t work.
