GOODING COUNTY -- A car crashed over the rim of the Snake River Canyon early Sunday morning, killing the lone occupant in the vehicle, police said. Gooding County deputies were called to the scene near Niagara Springs Park just after 7:30 a.m.

He was ejected from the car and died at the scene. The man's name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
