Crews Battle Human-caused Fire at Devil’s Corral
JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) – Fire crews are at the scene of a fire on Bureau of Land Management property in the Devil’s Corral north of the Perrine Bridge.
The blaze started around 1:25 p.m. today south of Interstate 84 near mile post 179 and has grown to about 150 acres, said Kelsey Brizendine, fire information officer with the BLM. It is believed to be human-caused.
Crews expect to have the blaze, called the Vineyard Fire, contained by 7 p.m., she said, and controlled by 10 p.m. today.
