Details for Steve Appelton Memorial Service Announced

The memorial service for Steve Appleton, longtime head of Micron Technology, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Taco Bell Arena at Boise State University.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Gov. Butch Otter; Boise State University President Bob Kustra; Mark Durcan, Micron’s new CEO; and Mark Adams, are among the planned speakers. The service is open to the public.

Micron officials are encouraging attendees to park Downtown and take a shuttle.. Appleton was killed in a plane crash near the Boise airport on February 3rd. He was 51.
