Burley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Firefighters from Burley with assistance from Heyburn and Declo battled a landfill fire late Tuesday night.

Crews remained on the scene until about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The blaze burned garbage 300 feet long and about 20 feet tall. Four engines, 3 tender trucks and a command unit along with about 20 firefighters and five employees from the landfill battled the blaze.
