Did you think Game of Thrones would let us off the hook with just a Jon Snow-baiting Season 6 poster? Welcome to Game of Trolls, as our first official teaser trailer for Season 6 hints that our beloved ex-Lord Commander may yet Warg with his brother Bran!

It’s unlikely we’re seeing any official footage by the first promo for Season 6, which recounts Jon Snow’s end, along with a number of other deaths and tragedies from the series, before tellingly cutting to Bran in mid-Warg. In the meantime, a voice (likely Max von Sydow’s Three-Eyed Raven) monologues:

We watch, we listen, and we remember. The past is already written - the ink is dry.

Adds Bran, “They have no idea what is going to happen.” Okay then!

Elsewhere of Game of Thrones Season 6, screen legend Max von Sydow has been cast as the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven to a returning Bran, while Deadwood alum Ian McShane will also appear in a limited, mysterious role, joining Richard E. Grant and The Babadook star Essie Davis as theatre troup players, four notable actors as the Tarly family, Melanie Liburd as a new Red Priestess, and Borgen star Pilou Asbæk as fan-favorite Euron Greyjoy. Apart from a list of directors, Of Monsters and Men will put in a cameo, and story logistics seemingly confirm scenes set at The Wall next year, presumably to explain this giant spoiler.

We still don’t know when exactly in April Game of Thrones will premiere, but is Jon Snow’s return finally out of the bag? What else might HBO reveal on the road to 2016?
