POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Eastern Idaho authorities are looking for a couple police say attacked and robbed a man after he stopped on Interstate 86 to help when he spotted what appeared to be a disabled vehicle.

Power County Sheriff Jim Jeffries tells the Idaho State Journal the 30-year-old Idaho Falls man stopped on May 5 when he spotted a 1980s model Honda CRX with the hood up between American Falls and Pocatello. Police say that while he talked with a heavyset woman about 5-foot-6, a man about 6-foot-3 came up and punched him in the head several times, knocking him to the ground.

He wasn't seriously injured. Police say the man went through the victim's pockets and took his wallet, which was recovered about 25 yards away. The couple then closed the hood and drove off.
