Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Jerome Deputies arrested a 34 year old woman early this morning after a Gooding Ambulance crew spotted her running partially clothed, along the freeway.

Captain Jack Johnson with the Jerome Sheriff’s Office said the ambulance crew was westbound, returning to Gooding when they spotted the female nude from the waist up, running between the two Jerome exits, near mile marker 167 at about 11:47 pm Monday. When the ambulance driver stopped to investigate, the female opened the side door to the ambulance and jumped into the driver’s compartment, telling the driver to “Go”.

Authorities from the Jerome County Sheriff’s office and the Jerome Police Department responded to the ambulance personnel’s call for help. Deputy Johnson said Carrie Anniece Deming from Michigan was taken into custody. She was charged with disturbing the peace.

According to the deputy’s report, the woman was riding with a man who claimed she became confrontational and began hitting him. When he stopped along the freeway the women opened the car door and begin running.

Authorities also arrested the driver of the car, charging Tennessee resident Daniel Ross Kelly, 26, with driving without privileges.

According to the report, the two were traveling through and were not residents of the area.

Both were booked into the Jerome County Jail.
