I recently read a sad statistic: One in six seniors in Idaho doesn't know where they'll get their next meal.

But thankfully, the Twin Falls Senior Center does so much to help seniors, from Meals on Wheels to group exercise classes and other activities, and we can support their good work by volunteering.

Meals on Wheels delivery drivers have even saved lives right in the Magic Valley! A few months ago, a Twin Falls Senior Center volunteer was delivering a hot meal to an elderly gentlemen. The delivery driver noticed something wasn’t quite right so she called for help. It turns out he was having a diabetic episode and she potentially saved his life!

Twin Falls Senior Center

Every time I've stopped by the center, I've noticed the seniors really crave social interaction. They really come alive and light up when they are at the center. You could just tell they really appreciated a friendly smile or conversation.

Even if you have just an hour here or there, they really appreciate the help. Click here to get started volunteering!
