UPDATE 10/24/14: The Times News is reporting that the horse statue from Vickers Westersn Store has been found. The owner tells the paper they received a call from someone saying they had spotted the horse near Devils Corral just North of the Snake River canyon. The owner tells the paper that the horse had some damage, but will be re-installed shortly.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A life-sized, molded plastic horse has been stolen from atop a south-central Idaho store.

Vickers Western Store owner Jim Vickers tells The Times-News (http://bit.ly/1xdboaA) that the horse that stood on the store's roof in Twin Falls since 1962 vanished Monday night.

He says the horse isn't worth much money but it has great historic value and he wants it back.

Police are investigating.
