IDAHO FALLS (KTVB) -- An Idaho Falls man has been sentenced to serve two to 13 years in prison for inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl.

The Post Register reports that 27-year-old Derrick Aschliman entered an Alford plea in November to charges of sexually abusing a minor by making an electronic recording of the child and having sexual contact with a minor. The plea doesn't admit guilt, but acknowledges that a jury could reasonably find the defendant guilty.

Aschliman was arrested in June 2014 after authorities say the mother of the victim found a video on Aschliman's iPad of the girl taking a shower. He later told investigators he had touched the girl inappropriately over her clothes.

Aschliman could be eligible for probation after serving one year in the county jail.
