JEROME, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) On October 5, Jerome county sheriff deputies were called to St. Luke’s in Jerome where a shooting victim was being treated.

Ricardo Nunez, 62 of Shoshone had been shot once with a small caliber handgun in the chest. He was later transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical center. Later he was released. Authorities determined the victim had been shot outside of a residence east of Jerome. On October 15, detective’s obtained an arrest warrant for Isaac Licano-Serrano 38, for the crime of Attempted Murder.

With the assistance of the Davis County (Utah) Task Force, Licano-Serrano was located in Farmington, Ut and arrested without incident. On October 26th, 2015 Licano-Serrano was transported back to Jerome County, Id and was held on and $100,000.00 bond. Licano-Serrano’s bond was posted and Licano-Serrano was released on October 30th, 2015. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, in a Jerome county Courtroom.
