Idaho’s Raul Labrador Strikes Blow for Religious Liberty

Imagine applying for college or graduate work at a prestigious university and the government refuses to provide financial assistance.  For now we’ll set aside the arguments over the policy and point out the government is being selective and may someday withhold assistance because the school is religiously affiliated and accused of bias for its biblical bedrock.  Imagine these schools no longer being accredited because the mission adheres to traditional beliefs about marriage.  It’s a serious threat and now two members of the Mountain West Congressional delegation are looking to protect students and the institutions of higher learning.

After a short monologue today about the New York State Presidential Primary I was joined by Idaho Republican Representative Raul Labrador.  Labrador and Utah Senator Mike Lee (also Republican) are sponsors of FADA known as First Amendment Defense Act.  Our conversation with Congressman Labrador is contained in the video below:
