Jerome, Id. (KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV) A Jerome man is dead after a crash on Highway 93 Friday afternoon.

According to Idaho State Police, 42-year-old Carl Kiser was headed northbound on the highway, near milepost 324, at around 3:50 p.m., when he drove his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup off the right shoulder, overcorrected, and then drove off the left shoulder. The truck flipped and struck a power pole before coming to rest on its top.

Kiser was ejected from the truck and died at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt. The crash is under investigation by ISP.
